Modern infrastructures mingle with charming neighborhoods, between Arab-Muslim heritage and legacies of the colonial period. Discover all its nuances: take a walk in the medina, one of the latest in Morocco, cross the center and its art-deco buildings, reach the Hassan II mosque, a marvel of architecture built on water.

Let yourself be carried away by the festive side of the city. Enjoy the corniche, its clubs, festivals too: the Casablanca Festival, Jazzablanca or Tremplin L’Boulevard.

As for the coast, it is lined with beaches equipped for your comfort. On site, diving, jet-skiing or boating are all activities that enhance your stay.

Itinerary

Day 1 :Casablanca -Rabat – Fez

After a great breakfast at the riad, we will go to Fez, making a stop off in Meknes. A city under the mountains of the Middle Atlas. We will stop at places of interest include the Roman ruins (Volubilis), a World Heritage Site. Among others. Lunch in Meknes and continue the route to Fes. Once we are in Fez, in the afternoon, we will reach the place of accommodation, where you will dinner and sleeping.

Day 2 :Explore Fes City with Local guide

After breakfast, the day will be particularly dedicated to the visit of Fes. This magnificent city is separated into three zones: Fez el¬ Bali, the old part. Fès el¬ Jdid, the modern and the old Medina, the French side. People who visit this city are completely captivated by is one of the largest medieval sites full of endless streets. Here are many things to visit: The Mellah. The Jewish Quarter, the Plaza of the dyers, Fes el Bali, the medieval medina of the city, Fes el Jedid, the new medina of Fes, the Andalusian Mosque, and many more sites. When the day ends, we will move to the riad where you will have dinner and spend the night.

Day 3:Fez – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz Valley -Merzouga(Camel Trek & Night in Desert Camp)

In the morning after breakfast, we will continue the excursion to the desert of Merzouga making a few stops at various interesting sites. At this stage of the route, we will enter the Middle Atlas. A charming and totally distinct from the rest of Morocco, called Ifrane people. It has a colder climate than the rest and somewhat different European architecture. Then we will head to Azrou where there are many extinct volcanoes, such as Jebel Hebri 2104 meters, among others. We will visit a forest of the oldest in this country full of cedars and very friendly monkeys, with the possibility of giving eat. The village is characterized by having a major cottage industry of cedar and then we will make a city tour seeing the sights.

 

We will continue to Midelt, located between the Middle Atlas and the High Atlas, we will stop for lunch and continue the route to the Ziz Valley, to admire the immensity of red gorges, clothing large oasis and the beautiful villages and adobe kasbahs. Later, in the afternoon, we will arrive in Merzouga where will you leave your things in our auberge and take what you need to spend the night in the tent. Depends on our arrival time we will take tea and rest before leaving while we equip the camels.

 

Once everything is ready, you will begin your great adventure in Erg Chebbi¬up of these large animals. After an hour and a half, we will arrive at camp having enjoyed the wonderful colours of the sand that we provide those hours, arrive at sunset to contemplate it. Then you will have a typical Moroccan dinner and later enjoy a night of live music with drums and a campfire to join us under the immensity of the starry sky.

Day 4 :Explore Merzouga area

The next morning you will wake up early to watch the sunrise. At midday, we will visit a nomad family. We will eat under the shade of a tree, you will see how the Berber pizza is made and then will taste it. After lunch, you will rest for a while, and later we will make a route through the desert. We will see an oasis in the desert in 4×4, also visit the town of Khamlia ( village of the blacks) mines MIFISS and meet the Berber nomads of the desert… Then you shall return to the camp, you will have dinner, play music again and will be staying in a Berber tent.

Day 5: Merzouga Sahara Desert » Rissani » Draa Valley » Ouarzazate

The next morning camel trek back to the riad, and you have the possibility to have a shower. We’ll go to a town called Khamlia. Where the sub ¬ Saharan people have created their village. One of the largest tribes are the Bambara, music plays a very important part and we can enjoy live music. We will continue the trip to Rissani, and stop to observe a large market that brings together many merchants, where lots of things like handicrafts, carpets, animals, food sold…

 

When we finish lunch we will visit and resume the march towards the Draa Valley where we can see the great nature around this area, stopping to take pictures and remember these precious places. We will reach Ouarzazate where we will arrive at the accommodation, dinner and sleep.

Day 6: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

After breakfast, we will go through the Kasbah of Taourirt, a World Heritage Site, full of towers and walls. Inside the Islamic and Jewish religion are mixed. Later we will go to the fortified city called Ait Ben Haddou, a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1987 and have been filmed various famous movies like Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, The Mummy… It is one of the best-preserved Kasbahs around Morocco, where they were designed to defend, houses, crops, palm trees…

 

The next stop is the Kasbah of Telouet. Located in the village of Telouet village is and was used to pass the High Atlas to Marrakech. It is a clearly deteriorating but with a special charm Kasbah. On the way we will pass along the High Atlas. Making several stops enjoying the great scenery to take photographs and breathe the fresh air offered by this place. We will arrive in Marrakech and head towards your accommodation Hotel where you can relax, have dinner and sleep.
